Tom was perhaps one of the best emails I received in my professional career. I was employed with Genpact at the time, serving as their Global Vice President of Sales, High Tech, and I can say with high confidence, I was not seeking employment outside of Genpact. I was reluctant to consider looking at a larger organization, and I was more cautious about other consulting opportunities. I was adamant about my goals, titles, and responsibilities, and I did not want to accept anything less. I cautiously accepted his calls, and during many discussions, I began to feel like he genuinely cared about me as a person. He was mindful that I was not seeking a job but rather a meaningful and passionate career. My overall experience was that Tom takes his responsibilities seriously and blends compassion into every search. Looking back, I can honestly say that what he shared about Accenture and what I could achieve was possible. Today I have taken several promotions, and without Tom’s coaching and advisory skills, I would not be in the position I am today.
