When I founded Level 5 Partners, I wasn’t trying to build another executive search firm.

I was trying to solve a problem I had witnessed throughout my 25 years in executive search.

Time after time, organizations invested millions of dollars in strategy, technology, acquisitions, AI, and transformation initiatives—yet the outcome was ultimately determined by something far less predictable: leadership.

The wrong executive could stall innovation, weaken culture, delay execution, and erode enterprise value long before the organization recognized what was happening. Conversely, the right leader could accelerate growth, unify teams, restore confidence, and unlock opportunities that financial models alone could never predict.

I came to believe that leadership decisions are among the highest-risk, highest-value decisions an organization will ever make.

Yet those decisions were often made using incomplete information.

Executive search firms focused on filling positions.

Consulting firms focus on solving business problems.

Very few organizations were helping boards, investors, and executive teams understand the human factors that determine whether transformation succeeds—or fails.

That gap became the foundation for Level 5 Partners.
