History

Located in Chicago Illinois, Level 5 Partners brings a wealth of knowledge, innovation and decades of executive-level experience to the table. 

Founder Thomas Aprill, and human capital executive himself, began his executive search career in corporate talent acquisition in early 2000 and has held numerous titles and responsibilities over the years, gaining extensive experience in hiring executives for high-grossing professional service firms, like Cognizant and Accenture as well as private equity companies. Prior to 2000, Tom was an early adopter of technology and software solutions dating back to the early adoption of software solutions. Mr. Aprill, with a plural career in corporate software sales leadership combined with executive search, provides a unique vision to solution selling at the executive search consultancy level. 

Today, with the complexities of a global ecosystem, a complex economy, an employment-population that thinks like no other past generations, and the after-effects of the pandemic, Thomas realized that the traditional approach of executive recruitment was consistently failing the client.

Recognizing this failure and realizing that more established firms were incapable of meeting tomorrow’s requirements, Thomas launched Level 5 Partners.

Level 5 Partners is a transformational firm that delivers executive search services to the industry and brings multi-level solutions to the forefront to address the psychological and emotional needs of tomorrow’s workforce. Thomas believes we are at a pivotal time where the executive search industry must look at the future of work and how we recruit, assess, integrate, and coach teams to be more effective listeners and better teachers.
