KIM BRINK

Industry Vertical Advisor, Digital Media and Creative Transformation

Kim Brink is an Industry Vertical Advisor for the Digital Media and Creative Transformation industries. In this position, she focuses on digital and marketing innovation in the automotive, consumer marketing and advertising services businesses. She is also an integral part of the firm’s C-Suite and Board Advisory Practices. For over 25 years, Kim has accelerated and transformed some of the world’s most iconic brands through her keen understanding and curiosity of consumers and marketplace trends and an innate ability to untap the power of a brand. Brink was instrumental in creating the first-ever Escalade franchise and re-energizing Cadillac, Chevrolet and NASCAR at critical moments in their history.

Before joining Level 5 Partners as an Industry Vertical Advisor, Kim served as the Global Chief Operating Officer of GTB, the dedicated global communication agency for WPP’s largest client, Ford Motor Company. Prior to joining GTB, Brink served as NASCAR’s SVP of Marketing and held senior C-level positions at General Motors, including the Executive Marketing Leader at Cadillac and Chevrolet from 2003-2010. A native Detroiter, Kim earned her MBA and BA from Wayne State University and is a graduate of the Kellogg Executive Development Program at Northwestern University.

Ms. Brink’s board experience includes serving as an Independent Director for Arctic Cat, an American designer, manufacturer and marketer of snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, and DealerSocket, a leading provider of retailing and CX software for the automotive industry. An avid country music fan, Kim also served on the Country Music Association (CMA) Board, the country music industry’s preeminent trade organization.  As a member of the women’s executive leadership organization, C200, Kim is an advocate for advancing the next generation of female business leaders.

Kim’s greatest passions are her two children, Stephen and Elizabeth, both Clemson Tigers and caring for and riding her quarter horses. She is eager to speak with executives that share her passion for marketing transformation or anything equine!
